Acupuncture focuses on a holistic, energy-based approach rather than a disease-oriented diagnostic and treatment model. The general theory of acupuncture is based on the premise that there are patterns of energy flow (Qi) through the body that are essential for health. Disruptions of this flow are believed to be responsible for disease. The acupuncturist can correct imbalances of flow at identifiable points close to the skin.

Besides herbal remedies, we also treat patients with acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, acupressure, magnets, laser and auricular (ear) and hand therapy.

We especially specialize in pain management, all kinds of skin problems, immune deficiency, gynecology, and digestive problems. We use only the finest sterile single-use disposable acupuncture needles. Noninvasive acupressure is also available for ear, hand, and magnet therapy. We have integrated the sports medicine muscle channel technique with Miriam Lee's master Tong points that treats sports injury and workers comp industrial injury.

We also offer Pediatric non-invasive acupuncture by applying Japanese pure gold and silver needle to conduct energy flow and open up the blockage to 12 channels of the body. It is also suitable for those who are needle-phobic.

If you live in northern California, or happen to visit the bay area, you are welcome to visit our clinic for a treatment.

The cost is $95 for an acupressure/acupuncture session.

Jenny Lee L. Ac. has learned a special acupuncture technique from Dr. Huang Bing-shan who is an internationally known Chinese Medicine doctor and has been honored "International Who's Who in Medicine" in Cambridge, England. He has successfully healed thousands of patients from various autoimmune deficient diseases. She further took advanced study with the world-renowned acupuncturist Dr. Wang Juyi in Beijing, China, using the ancient Meridian Theory method.

Jenny has also incorporated the Japanese style acupuncture technique in her treatment approach, based on the hara diagnosis used by Masters Matsumoto and Nagano. As we go through life, the various accumulations and pastlife carryovers will reflect on certain areas in our body. Therefore, it is best to clear the root issues that forms blockage to healing first. Once the correct blockage has been cleared, the body will find its way into healing, and the symptoms will be gone.

Laser Acupuncture is now available for non-invasive treatments. Laser can go deeper where the needles can not reach. It can also heal cells at a much faster rate. It is especially good for treating the thyroid gland.

You can email Jenny C. Lee at jenny@healinglab.com for any question regarding her treatment style and practice.

According to a National Institutes of Health consensus panel of scientists, researchers, and practitioners who convened in November 1997, clinical studies have shown that acupuncture is an effective treatment for nausea caused by surgical anesthesia and cancer-related treatments, as well as for dental pain experienced after surgery. The panel also found that acupuncture is useful by itself or combined with conventional therapies to treat addiction, headaches, menstrual cramps, tennis elbow, fibromyalgia, myofascial pain, osteoarthritis, lower back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, asthma, and to assist in stroke rehabilitation.
